Methods - Methodologies for assessment by simulation: At state-of-the art study

The Methods project has made an inventory of the most commonly

used methodologies for Assessment by Simulation. It has focused on methodologies used among the ViP partners.

The ambition of the project was limited to give a structured overview of methods used for assessment of virtual prototyping, environmental modelling, scenario production, measurement, human-in-the-loop simulation, and result analyses. It has further identified the needs in this area within the ViP consortium and paired the needs with the methods and thereby identified where new methods may have to be developed.

To be able to reach further, structured interviews has been performed with key persons, identified within the project, regarding their view on knowledge gaps, needs and where the research front stands today. Key persons have been identified within ViP but also on the international arena.
